Job Title: Outpatient Admissions Supervisor Department: Patient Access / Outpatient Services Full Time/PRN: Full Time  Job Summary The Outpatient Admissions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily outpatient registration and admissions operations. This role ensures accurate patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling support, point‑of‑service collections, and delivery of excellent customer service. The Supervisor leads staff, ensures compliance with regulatory and payer requirements, monitors productivity and quality metrics, and collaborates with clinical and revenue cycle teams to promote efficient patient access operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise outpatient registration and admissions operations; Lead, coach, train, and evaluate staff; Monitor registration accuracy, insurance verification, and authorization workflows; Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer requirements; Oversee point‑of‑service collections and financial counseling; Resolve patient concerns and escalated issues; Coordinate staff schedules and workflow assignments; Analyze productivity, quality, and denial reports; Collaborate with clinical, billing, and revenue cycle teams; Support EHR and registration system optimization; Develop policies, procedures, and training materials; Participate in audits and corrective action plans; Maintain HIPAA compliance; Support organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred; Minimum 3 years of clerical/administrative experience preferred; At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Strong organizational and time‑management skills; Excellent communication skills. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and computer use; Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone; Occasional lifting of office materials up to 20 pounds.
