POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Health Records Processing/Transcription, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Clerk 5 - Health Record Completion is responsible for: reviewing paper and electronic health records to ensure that physician health record completion standards have been met; removing the deficiency flag from the Chart Tracking system; preparing and distributing deficiency and suspension letters to physicians and midwives regarding incomplete charts; preparing and distributing the Physician Incomplete Chart List; assisting physicians and midwives in completing their health records; training physicians and midwives on completion of the electronic Discharge Summary Note; and performing other related duties as assigned.
