Description POSITION SUMMARY: Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Plaza's Company standards, policies, and procedures. Using various management techniques to handle problems and promote efficiency, oversee all coin room activities. Also participate in using various types of equipment and physical strength to remove all coins from slot machines and bring them to the coin room to be weighed/counted, and wrapped or packed for accountability purposes. Service the coin needs of the slot floor with a concentration on safeguarding these assets. Top 5 Specific Job Functions: Stack bills, remove documents, separate various bills; responsible for counting all $20's. Take documents, put them in order, initial document, assist in sort and counting, record call of numbers, ensure verifiers' call matches card total. As a Verifier - Verifies all counted money to ensure figures match from previous handlers, each box totals match, and shift totals match. Operates a ten-key. Receives all documents, matches computer figures, and enters all totals from each box. Other Specific Job Functions: Assists in sorting and stacking bills. After each shift is completed will carry the money tray to the cash window. Carry chip trays to the cash window. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested. Knowledge of gaming regulations required. An ability to handle and count currency and chips rapidly and with accuracy is a must. It is also necessary to have 10-Key and computer skills. Check the station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness. Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure; work indoors and outdoors, as well as being exposed to hot/cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors. Most work tasks are performed indoors; however, there are events where outdoor activities are required. Indoor temperatures are moderate and controlled by internal environmental systems.
