Clerk for Procurement / Service Management (m/f/d)

We are looking for someone to join the real estate office of the city of Stuttgart. The position is permanent. 

The Building Services Department (Real Estate Management Department) of the Real Estate Office is responsible for the management of over 1,600 buildings. This portfolio comprises a diverse range of properties, including daycare centers, office buildings, libraries, music schools, assembly halls, administrative buildings, fire stations, residential buildings, dormitories, and other types of buildings. The department's commercial and technical responsibilities are correspondingly varied.

A job that excites you

  • Preparation and awarding of all maintenance contracts for technical systems
  • Preparation of the tender documents and all specifications.
  • Conducting site visits with companies
  • Review and evaluation of received bids, as well as documentation/procurement record and award and rejection notifications.
  • Management of completed contracts
  • Quality and complaint management as well as invoice processing

The scope of duties may be changed or supplemented.

Your profile that suits us

  • Completed vocational training as an administrative assistant, a completed first examination according to the pay scale (VKA, formerly employee training course I), office management clerk, real estate clerk or a comparable qualification that qualifies for the aforementioned activities
  • Knowledge of public procurement law (especially VOL and VOB), purchasing and sales is desirable. 
  • Experience in at least some of the above-mentioned key tasks, as well as experience in property management or facility management, is desirable.
  • Good computer skills are required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in German
  • Strong communication, teamwork and conflict resolution skills, as well as willingness to perform field service in Stuttgart
