Reports to: Director of Material Management FLSA: Non-exempt Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Previous materials management, inventory, or healthcare supply experience preferred. Required Skills: * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment * The ability to work with minimal supervision.  * Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.   Certifications: N/A Licenses: N/A Essential Functions * Responsible for receiving and storage of supplies within the Materials Management Department. * Receives and fills all supply requisitions from departments that are not replenished by the PAR system. * Collects patient supply charges for processing. * Interfaces directly with staff members of user departments to determine the need for adjustments to the PAR Level Replenishment System. * Properly handles and stores sterile items to maintain sterility. * Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and calling for assistance when needed. * Notifies the Director of Materials Management or Purchasing when supplies or special orders are needed. * Ensures operation of equipment by following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, reporting repair needs, and evaluating new equipment or techniques of use. * Restocks supplies utilizing proper rotation, organization, identification, documentation, and location of stock. * Maintains stock levels by monitoring and checking inventory levels.   EEOC Statement: Meadowview Regional Medical Center is committed to providing Equal Employment Opportunities for all applicants and employees and complies with all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment because of color, race, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability, genetic information, gender identity, sexual orientation, veterans' status or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.   Lifepoint Health is a leader in community-based care and driven by a mission of Making Communities Healthier.
