Description

Job Description: To supervise and monitor daily construction activities and place quality of work done in top priority. To ensure all works carried out and material used strictly in accordance to specification and required standard. To record and assess works done by main contractor and subcontractors on site and report to superior and project consultants any irregularity or works that are not satisfactory. Attend site meetings and coordinating with contractors and consultants. Participate in factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, and overall testing and commissioning procedures for M&E systems to ensure functionality and safety. Promote safety awareness on site and ensure that all M&E work practices comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. To verify site progress reports/documents submitted by the contractor. To witness and verify monthly progress claims submitted by the contractor. Responsible and ensuring in keeping and maintaining all site reports / project documents in good order at all times. Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the management. Requirements: Possess at least Diploma in Building / Mechanical & Electrical / Construction Management or related disciplines. At least 10 years working experience in property development or construction industry, serving as a Clerk of Work (CoW) / Inspector of Work (IOW). Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Holding a valid driving license for site mobility. This position is based at the construction site.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily M&E construction activities to ensure work quality and adherence to specifications. Coordinate with contractors and consultants while managing site reports and verifying progress claims.
