QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant experience in a Clerk of Works role or similar position in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in report writing and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A relevant qualification or accreditation is preferred - CABE, CIOB, RICS or ICWCI, MCIOB.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clerk of Works to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality and compliance with project specifications.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to provide expert guidance on quality control issues.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on site conditions, progress, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions to project timelines.
  • Monitor the implementation of best practices in construction quality management.
  • Ensure that all safety and regulatory standards are maintained on-site.
