PURPOSE OF THE JOB The purpose of this job is to perform problem resolution tasks such as identifying product, determining status of the product, working with Planning and/or Accounting to receive the product into a usable status and data entry of product into inventory. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES * Makes decisions regarding the adjustment and receipt of inventory to resolve issues presented by the Accounts Payable team. * Communicate with Accounts Payable and planning departments, and works to quickly research and resolve all issues that will reconcile receipt of POs. * Scans and enters correct quantities and purchase orders using the appropriate computer applications. * Sorts and moves materials to the appropriate staging area according to current receiving guidelines. * Audits to ensure accuracy of the product. * Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES * High School Diploma or GED required. * 1 year of relevant work experience * Novice proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Novice proficiency with standard business applications such as the internet and email * Analytical Skills: Able to use critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve problems and issues. * Collaboration: Able to develop cooperation and teamwork while participating in a group, working toward solutions which generally benefit all involved parties.
