Job Description Job Family – Client Account Management Client Account Managers are the primary contacts for AECOM's relationships with accounts which are strategically important at a regional, business line or global level. They have responsibility for developing, growing and sustaining our business with their client(s), working across our company to offer solutions that deliver, using all our relevant capabilities and local and global expertise. Bringing the best of AECOM to the client, on time, every time. AECOM is seeking an experienced and dedicated Client Account Manager to join our team at New York Metro Transportation group. This role centers on building and nurturing long-term client relationships, understanding client needs, and driving account growth through exceptional service delivery and strategic partnership. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and the Government Clients, fostering a strong and collaborative partnership. Develop an in-depth understanding of the Government Clients objectives, initiatives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions and services. Manage the successful delivery of projects by coordinating with the Technical Delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Identify opportunities for expanding the scope of services offered to the Department and collaborate with Market Sector Leads to develop proposals. Represent the organization and maintain relationships with key clients, regulatory bodies, municipalities, and agencies in New Jersey. Lead efforts in client retention, satisfaction, and long-term engagement. Collaborate across disciplines and business lines to deliver integrated solutions that support client goals. Mentor and support team development resulting in retention and internal promotion Qualifications Minimum Requirements: BA/BS in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field. 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in Client Account Management for large-scale transportation projects. Well-established network of contacts within New Jersey state and local government agencies and public sector entities. Demonstrated ability to manage through influence in a matrixed or team-based environment. Preferred Requirements: Experience in organizational development, client service management, program management, design, construction management, and/or business development for transportation projects. Experience interfacing with state and local jurisdictions, especially NY/NJ infrastructure projects. Recognized leader in developing and nurturing relationships with key clients. A team-oriented individual that can work with operations, project and marketing staff of all levels. Ability to collaborate across disciplines and business lines for integrated delivery and growth. Travel may be required for this position. Additional Information Relocation is not avaiable for this role. Sponosrship is not avaiable now or inthe future.
