Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CLIENT ACCOUNT MANAGER:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, lasting relationships through regular engagement, needs assessment, and tailored solutions.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business, maintain existing accounts, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Promote Rogers telecommunications products and services, ensuring solutions align with customer needs while driving revenue and account expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize account performance, meet sales targets, and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance client experience, streamline processes, and maximize service delivery.
  • Track account activity, analyze trends, and generate data-driven insights to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and key performance metrics in CRM software, providing regular reports to management.
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and proactively resolving concerns.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CLIENT ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE:

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
  • Background in customer service, sales, account management, or telecommunications is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, negotiate, and handle objections professionally.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to assess challenges, analyze data, and adjust strategies for success.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and telecommunications products is an asset, with a willingness to learn.
  • Openness to training, professional development, and staying up to date with industry trends.
  • Full-time, in-office availability at the Victoria, BC location. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred but not required.
