Summary: This position is responsible for all accounting functions for multiple clients. Ensure P&L statements, payables, accruals, balance sheets, bank accounts, audits, and ledgers are all accurate and completed every month. You will develop and maintain an effective relationship with all stakeholders in the business and be able to communicate across all levels of the organization. Review payroll information received from client is complete and accurate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide full-charge bookkeeping services for multiple clients including payroll, invoicing, A/R collections, and financial reporting. Tally and enter cash receipts. Prepare and post journal entries. Assist with month-end close process. Prepare timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports and communicate results to clients in a comprehensive manner. Assist with year-end close process. Assist with sales tax returns. Assist with onboarding new bookkeeping clients. Prepare supporting documents for annual tax returns and Form 1099-MISC filings. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: · Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop, CS Professional Suite Software, MS Office; Google Drive, ShareFile, or similar cloud client portal. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Attention to detail. · Ability to prioritize and multitask. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Education and Experience: · Associate degree required, BBA or related field preferred. · 5 – 6 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience. · QB ProAdvisor Certificate a plus. · Experience in a CPA firm is a plus. Physical/Mental/Visual Demands and Work Environment: · This job is conducted in an office work environment, sitting most of the time, working on a computer. · Must be able to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally. · Some travel may be required. Work Schedule: · Typically, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm · Additional hours are required during peak season.
