QUALIFICATIONS

  • Min 5 years experience in a Private Banking setup with good understanding of relevant financial products and services in Private Banking
  • CACS Paper 1 and 2 is mandatory
  • Good language skills i.e. English and Chinese / Mandarin (verbal and written) according to specific market requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Proactive and collaborative
  • Working knowledge of Avaloq is an advantage

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing administrative and client service support to Relationship Managers (RMs) within the front office function servicing Private Banking clients.

  • Support RMs in regard to client account administration, client servicing and retention efforts.
  • Liaise with internal departments regarding administrative matters concerning execution and settlement of trades, delivery of securities, corporate action, payment and receipt of funds, renewal and repayment of loans.
  • Liaise with other financial institutions and service providers regarding account opening request and other clients’ administrative matters.
  • Check daily transaction list to ensure trades are processed correctly
  • Prepare and send trade confirmations to clients
  • Monitor and arrange for settlement of trades
  • Prepare payment orders
  • Input orders for securities, forex and money market into system
  • Prepare and followup on account opening documentation
  • Maintaining and updating of spreadsheets for selected clients
  • Print valuation reports and prepare client’s outstanding documents, brochures and investment and research materials for RM’s business trip
  • To assist RMs in making sure there are no outstanding items relating to client administration matters
