JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Client Care Ambassador is an entry level supervisory/caregiving position fully supported by your Care Designer team.
In this role you enjoy working collaboratively, but with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. Seeking optimal solutions for each care situation and able to manage both simple and more complex care situations.
You are flexible, adaptable, passionate and driven by the idea of being involved with an organization that is changing the way home care is delivered through our Happier Aging Philosophy.

CLIENT & CAREGIVER EXPERIENCE:

  • Reviews and confirms client’s schedule to clarify any questions
  • Reviews careplan and documentation with the caregiver
  • Reviews documentation and follow up with any care related concerns
  • Follows up with careplan and updates as needed
  • Identify changes in level of care and communicates recommendations with the Care Designer in a timely manner - i.e. does client need more care? If so, has the level of care changed?
  • Fills in for visits as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active BC Registered Care Aide
  • Valid BC Drivers License (Class 5) with clean driving abstract
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills especially communicating with families and medical personnel.
  • Superb organization, planning, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Fluency in other languages other than English considered an asset
  • Computer Proficiency
  • Negative TB Test completed within the last 2 years
  • Up to date Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate and First Aid.
  • Previous home care experience helping clients with activities of daily living: healthy meal preparation, personal care, Transfers, ambulation and exercises, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, etc, according to Care Plan
  • Supervisory experience an asset
