Wings Recovery is hiring for an Office Support - Client Care Technician in Carlsbad, CA! Primary Purpose and Function  The Client Care Technician (CCT) – Office Support is responsible for providing administrative support, and direct service to clients, and for supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the program.  The Client Care Technician – Office Support also provides administrative support for the multidisciplinary team (Treatment Team).  Minimum Qualifications  *  Attainment of at least 18 years of age  *  High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, or other Health Related Field preferred.  *  A minimum of one year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a behavioral health setting.  *  Experience in residential recovery program preferred.  *  Proficient computer skills and ability to use various software programs.  *  Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment  *  Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player.   *  Excellent communication skills both oral and written.   *  Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and personal automobile insurance. Hiring is contingent upon receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption, a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508), a TB test, and clearance on an employment physical.   *  Current CPR/First Aid Essential Functions and Responsibilities  * Provides assistance in scheduling and filing client intake information.    * Maintain and update client records, including identifying, and retrieving any missing information.   * Assists with the  scheduling for client transportation and transportation calendar.  * Support inter-departmental communications within Wings Recovery.   * Welcome clients and visitors, providing a warm and supportive environment.  * Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.   * Assist CCT management team with daily operations to ensure smooth functioning.   * Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring that the front desk is well-stocked.  * Provide client transportation and support, as needed, to medical appointments, recreational outings, when necessary.  * Provide direct client care and effective crisis intervention.   * Relay important messages between clients and clinical team, and management promptly.  * Adhere to confidentiality policies and procedures to protect client information.   * Be aware of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations, directing clients to the appropriate resources.   * Support clients in accessing community resources.   * Demonstrate active listening skills.   * Utilize individualized approach to client services.   * Prioritize daily tasks and perform effectively.   * Complete at least 20 hours of continuing education per year in areas relating to mental health and the care of the mentally ill.   * Maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.   * Performs in an ethical manner according to the program’s policies and procedures.   * Adheres to program’s policies and procedures.   * Attends required trainings.   * Provide proper notification of absence and tardiness in accordance with Wings Recovery Employee Handbook.   * Be flexible in accepting assignments.   * Follow programs procedures on vehicle and property maintenance.   * Follows all program safety rules and transportation requirements.   * Performs other related duties as assigned.
