JOB OVERVIEW:

SafeBridge Financial Group is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to support 2 – 4 Sr. Mortgage Agents from the beginning of the mortgage application through to closing. The candidate will work with customers, Sr. Mortgage Agents, underwriters and other members throughout the entire process to ensure a smooth, thorough and exceptional customer experience. The candidate must reside in Ontario, have mortgage underwriting experience, and hold a valid Mortgage Agent License.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Post Secondary Education
· Must have minimum 2 years’ underwriting experience in Mortgage Brokerage industry
· Level 2 Mortgage Agent license preferred
· Must be well versed with Alternative lending

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· Must have strong customer service focus and communication skills
· Strong analytical, auditing and math skills
· Meticulously organized
· Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
· Capable of managing multiple deals/tasks and deadlines simultaneously
· Ability to support multiple Mortgage Agents
· Proficient computer skills
· Natural ability to be a team player and take charge when necessary
· Experience with Mortgage Industry system and tools
· Strong understanding of Expert Filogix

Responsibilities

· Assist Mortgage Agent in entering applications into appropriate systems and verify accuracy of data
· Provide mortgage agent with lender options for final packaging and lender submission.
· Collect and review files for Mortgage Agent ensuring all the required documentation needed has been supplied to fulfillment
· Complete full signing package for clients to review and sign off
· Appraisal requests as required by application
· Liaise with customer to address any inquires, and request additional documentation required from fulfillment in order to satisfy all lender conditions
· Manage Mortgage Agent E-Mails & Contact Lists as required
· Manage deal closings by confirming Customers, Lawyers, Banks and Mortgage Agents have all necessary documents and information required in order to ensure smooth Customer Experience
· Manage Mortgage Agents’ digital and physical paperwork ensuring it is clean, organized and easy to access
· Analyze existing customers database to identify potential renewals or new opportunities for Mortgage Agent
· Assist with Underwriting when necessary
· Support Mortgage Agent with other professional administrative functions
· Complete compliance package and upload for audit and payroll
