Job Description
The Client Consultant Manager is responsible for supporting the goals and business targets of the Central America and Caribbean region (CARCAM). This individual will serve in a digital practice consulting capacity, advancing the growth, influence, and impact of Visa Advisory Services within the region. The role involves developing and leading high-impact solutions and transformational projects for Visa clients. It also includes fostering a culture of sustainable innovation, digital progression, and efficient change management. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning and execution of subregional engagements, ensuring a smooth implementation of initiatives from Visa Consulting and Analytics. This role requires leading consultation projects and delivering solutions in collaboration with issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, and other key stakeholders within the ecosystem.

Specific scope of work and responsibilities includes

  • Anticipate, identify, and diagnose Client’s digital transformation needs in collaboration with account executives and Advisory Services team members.
  • Draft insightful consulting proposals to address Client’s digital opportunities and challenges, leveraging past engagement experiences and innovative approaches.
  • Execute and manage end to end projects diligently and with the highest quality, applying playsets, reflecting digital vertical subject matter expertise, and collaborating with other Advisory and Visa functional areas.
  • Synthesize project insights and share outcomes and learnings across CARCAM and global markets to help scale the digital consulting practice through standardization and streamlining.
  • Conduct proactive research on key digital trends and technologies to stay abreast of emerging digital trends and industry opportunities.
  • Develop data-driven analyses to identify digitization opportunities and guide tactical and practical recommendations.
  • Develop comprehensive methodologies and frameworks to evaluate Client’s digital maturity, envision the optimal state, and design transformational roadmaps.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Services, Payments, Consulting, or related industries.
  • Passionate, self-motivated, and results-oriented with an inherent drive towards innovation.
  • Technologically driven mindset, digitally savvy and up-to-date with the latest market and industry innovation trends.
  • Ability to solve problems strategically with a focus on driving incremental growth.
  • Understanding of the key drivers of monetization and profitability in the payments and money movement sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Team player spirit with an agile mindset.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
