Description HyerTek is looking for a Client Delivery Director to lead our project delivery organization and ensure our federal clients get exceptional results. This is a people-first leadership role—you'll manage our delivery team, own client relationships, and make sure projects run smoothly from kickoff to close. You'll oversee 4–6 concurrent projects and manage a team of 12–20 delivery professionals (project managers, developers, consultants). As we grow, so will your portfolio. This isn't a technical project manager role, although having technical skills is an added bonus. We need someone who knows how to run projects, develop people, and keep clients happy in the federal space. If you've delivered technology projects for government customers and love building high-performing teams, we want to talk. Lead the Delivery Team Manage all delivery staff: PMs, developers, and consultants Handle staffing decisions and resource allocation across projects Run performance reviews, coaching, and career development Participate in hiring for delivery roles Own Project Delivery Ensure projects deliver on time, on budget, and at quality Spot risks early and fix them before they become problems Run standups, reviews, and retrospectives Standardize our delivery processes and templates Manage Client Relationships Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for government program managers Lead status reporting, issue resolution, and client communication Build trust with stakeholders at the program manager and director level Support the Business Help with delivery planning and LOE estimates during pre-sales Work with leadership to improve how we deliver and scale Requirements 10+ years in project/program management 5+ years delivering technology projects for federal or DoD customers Experience managing delivery teams directly (not just projects—people) Track record running multiple $500K+ engagements simultaneously Strong presence with government clients Excellent communication skills U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance Nice to Have Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure) PMP or PgMP certification Active Secret clearance Consulting or professional services background Experience with Agile in federal environment Work Authorization This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) clearance.
