Overview Drive Growth Through Strategic Outbound Sales and Relationship Building BerryDunn’s Management and IT Consulting Group (MITG) is seeking a highly motivated and sales-driven Client Development Lead to accelerate our growth and expand our client base. In this role, you will take lead in outbound sales activities, seeking new business, building a robust pipeline, and forging strong relationships with prospective clients. Your proactive outreach, networking skills, and passion for bringing in new opportunities will help establish BerryDunn as a trusted partner in new markets. Travel Expectation: Up to 50% travel to conferences, client sites, and networking events is required You Will Be responsible for: Outbound Sales & Lead Generation: Proactively identify, target, and engage new prospects through cold calls, emails, social selling, and in-person networking. Drive high-quality leads into the pipeline and consistently seek new opportunities. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, industry influencers, and referral sources to generate and nurture business opportunities. Market Expansion: Research and assess new geographic and industry markets for BerryDunn’s services, focusing on healthcare with additional opportunities in higher education and commercial sectors. Event Engagement: Represent the firm as a dynamic brand ambassador at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Lead pre-event prospecting, onsite networking, and post-event follow-up to convert leads into clients. Sales Pipeline Management: Qualify leads, understand client needs, and coordinate introductions with MITG experts for effective follow-up and deal progression. Track all activity and outcomes in Salesforce. Collaboration & Strategy: Partner with the practice group and marketing teams to align on go-to-market strategies, maximize outreach impact, and pursue sales initiatives. Thought Leadership & Brand Promotion: Promote content creation and thought leadership efforts, including blogs, webinars, and articles, to position BerryDunn as a market leader. You Have Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. Demonstrated success in outbound sales roles, preferably in healthcare, and experience in higher education or commercial sectors is a plus. Track record of generating leads, building new business, and closing deals—ideally in professional services or software/technology sales (e.g., EHR, ERP). Natural networker with outstanding communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable engaging at all levels, from entry point to executive. Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), lead generation platforms, and event management tools. Self-starter mindset, driven by goals, and passionate about sales and connecting with new people. Compensation Details The base salary range targeted for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
