As the Client Development Manager (CDM) | Institutional, you will execute business development activities to generate new client relationships within our institutional market that align with our Operations Plans. You will collaborate with corporate, local, and market leaders to drive new client sales. Key Responsibilities:   * Business Development: Sell services to high-value, targeted clients and develop a client capture plan for each prospect in collaboration with the Vice President of Growth * Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at targeted clients to establish a competitive advantage * Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular contact with external stakeholders to promote our services and enhance brand awareness * Proposal Leadership: Lead new client proposal efforts, coordinating with Proposal Specialists, Service Assistant Vice Presidents, and Project Managers.  * Transition Management: Ensure a seamless transition from client acquisition to initial project delivery * Service Expansion: Actively engage with Service Assistant Vice Presidents to identify and drive new service initiatives Requirements:   * Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred; successful work history in prior role may be acceptable in lieu of degree * 7 years of professional experience, with previous sales experience preferred * Demonstrated understanding of current engineering consulting industry, market trends, and strategies a plus  * Strong strategic, tactical, business development, and marketing skills are necessary * Ability to work well with all levels of company personnel and establish effective working relationships throughout the company * Highly motivated, flexible, and results-oriented with strong prioritization skills * Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, projecting a professional demeanor * Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment with adaptability to changing client needs * Ability to build trust-based relationships and demonstrate a strong desire to achieve goals * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools, along with data analysis software * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Requires frequent travel (20-70%) by car, train, and/or air as appropriate, to target client facilities, association meetings, and conferences, which will include working outside of regular business hours and overnight as needed (Valid U.S. Driver's License is required) * Legal authorization to work in the U.S.       Life at HRG   Are you a creative problem solver who wants to make a difference in people’s everyday lives?
