Hamster is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Development Representative to join our team. Hamster is a trademark of Novexco Inc., the largest Canadian-owned office supply distributor.
The Client Development Representative (CDR) plays a key role in supporting our Corporate Account Manager in delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales growth across all office essentials categories, including stationary, furniture, technology, janitorial and breakroom supplies, educational, as well as printing and promotional products.
This position key responsibility is strengthening customer relationships, expanding account penetration, and ensuring profitable growth. Working under the guidance of the Director, Western Canada the CDR role helps maximize each customers spend potential and contributes to achieving corporate sales and service objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, or related field; or equivalent work experience (minimum 5 years in B2B corporate accounts or Outbound Customer Support role).
  • Proven experience selling into multiple levels of corporate accounts, including executive decision-makers, purchasing departments or individuals.
  • Familiarity with contractual requirements, reporting, and account compliance.
  • Knowledge of office products, furniture, technology, and janitorial/sanitation supplies preferred or considered an asset.
  • MUST have valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory.
  • Strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems).

Responsibilities
  • Support the Corporate Account Manager in managing and growing assigned corporate accounts within assigned territory.
