CLIENT DIRECTOR, NATURAL RESOURCES | GLOBAL & CORPORATE

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Client Director to join the Natural Resources team in our Global & Corporate segment within Aon Risk Solutions. Global & Corporate specialises in the provision of exceptional Insurance and Risk Management Services to clients supporting the energy transition in Australia.
As a Client Director you will be responsible for managing a team and significant portfolio of clients across the Mining, Energy, Power and Renewables industries. You will also have overall management of portfolio activities across retention, sales and P&L.
A core Client Segment within Aon Australia, Global & Corporate specialises in the provision of exceptional Insurance and Risk Management Services to a broad portfolio of National and top ASX listed businesses, including major multinational organisations.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL LEAD TO SUCCESS

This position will suit a someone with the following experience:

  • Strong understanding of natural resources industry and risks associated with the industry
  • Extensive experience in general insurance broking
  • Excellent networking and relationship management skills allowing you to be a prominent member of the insurance community
  • Ability to manage both upwards and downwards, influencing and engaging with significant internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Client and outcomes focused
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client value through expertise and innovation
  • Proven success in a leadership and people development position
  • Proven commercial experience providing analysis on revenue, profit and PTI.
