Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We currently have a unique and exciting senior lending opportunity in Structured Property Finance, which involves adopting a higher lending risk position on complex property development and investment transactions. This role requires national coverage and is responsible for the origination of new structured property finance transactions and active management of the existing portfolio. We spoke with our Head of Property – Northern, who let us know the following about the role: What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? Actively manage the Structured Property Finance portfolio, which includes a range of complex commercial property development and investment customers. This will require national coverage and travel for business development opportunities and supporting the wider Property Finance team. Undertake detailed credit and risk analysis across a range of development and investment transactions to meet customer needs. Be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and confidently present and negotiate bespoke funding solutions. Support transaction management from approval stage to settlement, including playing an active role in the legal documentation process for the Bank. Build upon your existing strong network of market advocates (key market players, professionals, and intermediaries) who focus on property market operations to uncover fresh opportunities, develop referrals and to source market specific knowledge.
