SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated experience in the operation of commercial or government insurance businesses and possesses a deep understanding of the general insurance value chain.
  • Proven account / relationship management experience in a commercial, consulting or government environment.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Sound understanding of the legislative frameworks and regulatory requirements, pertaining to government led IfNSW schemes

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is responsible for providing client engagement services to NSW agency clients, working closely with the assigned client base to understand their strategic and risk drivers and business priorities. This role has accountability for a high-value customer experience, to build and enhance agency relationships and ensure value-add services to improve agency outcomes.

DUTIES

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Client Engagement Manager you will:

  • Develop, maintain and autonomously manage highly effective strategic relationships with executive level representatives within the assigned agencies.
  • Develop and execute annual account plans for key customers and track progress against these plans on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Deliver high-value insights to agencies to inform and facilitate risk prevention and mitigation.
  • Guide and coach customers in managing key agency risks and to understand and size the impact of wider strategic risks.
  • Support whole-of-government risk initiatives and roll these out to the assigned agencies to maximise cross-government collaboration.
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Risk Advisors, the IfNSW GMs and wider IfNSW initiative owners to share key insights and learnings across the agencies to promulgate best practice and achieve sustained mutual value.
  • Develop key relationships across Insurance for New South Wales (IfNSW) and the wider icare businesses, to orchestrate internal functions and advocate on behalf of agencies.
  • Capture and codify customer, risk and government knowledge to preserve the technical expertise and intelligence base of the Agency Engagement function.
  • Represent and negotiate with agency representatives on key performance expectations and wider strategic requirements, to ensure icare IfNSW objectives are met.
  • Be the central point of contact for the assigned agencies to concierge and resolve key issues and/or business challenges.
