QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of related and progressive experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products.
  • Relevant experience working with real estate related insurance products is preferred.
  • RIBO License is required
  • CIP or CAIB designation, or working towards is considered an asset
Responsibilities
  • Develop tailored insurance solutions for clients based on a detailed understanding of their risk profiles and business objectives.
  • Prospect new clients in various forms including cold calling, networking events, association events, social media and other forms of sales activity
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on insurance solutions, managing ongoing relationships, and adapting coverage as client needs evolve.
  • Oversee the claims process, acting as a liaison between clients and insurers and providing clients with proactive support throughout the process.
  • Responsible for collection and management of all accounts receivable related to clients
  • Lead the sales process and support the negotiation for insurance contracts, with a focus on securing competitive terms, pricing, and coverage.
  • Represent and promote Acera to potential clients at trade shows and networking events
  • Travel is required to meet with clients or to attend association, networking, or insurer events
  • Presenting terms and marketing material to clients as required
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
