Description What You will Do You will be the first impression of Ohio Desk, whether that is answering the phone, welcoming guests into our showroom, or supporting the sales and leadership teams behind the scenes. Client & Showroom Experience • Be the friendly, professional first point of contact • Welcome and manage walk-in and scheduled showroom visitors • Support basic furniture sales and small client requests, from quoting to order completion • Keep the showroom organized, stocked, and always “customer-ready” Sales & Team Support • Assist the sales team with presentations, proposals, and bid documents (PowerPoint + Excel) • Help coordinate customer visits and events, agendas, calendars, catering, signage, follow-ups • Manage inquiries, leads from multiple platforms, and help route them appropriately • Perform CRM data entry and provide administrative support to leadership • Assist with content for social media platforms Operations & Coordination • Support showroom inventory, product transfers, and floor moves • Coordinate with Operations on showroom changes and inventory coming in/out • Pitch in wherever help is needed, no task is too small or too strategic This Role Might Be for You If You… • Like being in a supportive role and take pride in making others successful • Are comfortable shifting between high-level thinking and hands-on tasks • Enjoy variety and do not want your days to look the same • Are organized, proactive, and naturally helpful • Have strong communication skills and a calm, professional presence • Are curious, creative, and always looking for a better way to do things • Are confident using Microsoft tools like Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Requirements • 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, office support, or a related role • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience); High school diploma required • Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment What We Offer • A collaborative, values-driven team environment • Exposure to sales, design, operations, and leadership • Opportunities to improve skills and expand responsibilities over time • Competitive compensation aligned with an entry to mid-level professional role • A chance to be part of a company that has been serving Northeast Ohio for over a century About Ohio Desk Ohio Desk is a locally owned workplace solutions company and proud Steelcase dealer.
