POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales efforts, outstanding customer service, and long-term relationship management. Reporting directly to the Terminal Manager, this position manages the full sales cycle?from prospecting and quoting to closing and post-trip follow-up?while ensuring customers receive exceptional service and support. By balancing business development with account management, the Sales Consultant plays a vital role in strengthening Sunway Charters? market presence, supporting company growth initiatives, and fostering lasting partnerships with clients.

Responsibilities
  • Sales & Business Growth
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building with organizations such as schools, universities, churches, corporations, and community groups.
  • Respond to inbound leads with accurate, competitive quotes and follow up consistently to negotiate rates and close sales.
  • Maintain and grow an active sales pipeline, achieving or exceeding sales targets and contributing directly to company revenue goals.
  • Support Sunway Charters? growth by promoting services, participating in company marketing initiatives, and recommending new opportunities for expansion.
  • Work with management to develop pricing strategies and contract negotiations that maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
  • Customer Service & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a seamless experience from booking through trip completion.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally, providing timely solutions that balance client satisfaction with company interests.
  • Ensure all payments are collected and processed before trip departures.
  • Follow up with customers after trips to confirm satisfaction, address feedback, and encourage repeat bookings.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and account documentation for reference and reporting.
  • Operational & Team Coordination
  • Collaborate with dispatch and operations staff to ensure clear communication of trip details between drivers and customers.
  • Stay knowledgeable of Hours of Service (HOS) requirements to confirm travel plans are compliant.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams, ensuring expectations are met and service delivery reflects company standards.
  • Professionalism & Contribution to Growth
  • Represent Sunway Charters with professionalism, courtesy, and integrity in all customer and partner interactions.
  • Uphold confidentiality on all company matters and customer accounts.
  • Participate in company initiatives, events, and programs designed to increase brand visibility and market growth.
