ENGELWOOD ASSET MANAGEMENT S.A. IS A CSSF REGULATED THIRD PARTY AIFM (EUROPEAN ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT FUND MANAGER) IN LUXEMBOURG.

Due to the increase in current and future business, we are currently looking for an Client & Fund Management – Officer to join our company.

MINIMUM PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in Management, Finance or Business Administration,
  • First successful experience in funds in Luxembourg is an advantageous asset,
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in French and English. Any other language will be considered as advantageous,
  • Hands-on, flexible, eager-to-learn attitude,
  • Ability (or willingness) to work independently but also as part of a team,
  • Willingness to keep on learning and growing while managing day to day,
  • Appetite for excellence whilst delivering work for our clients.

ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGEOUS PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the fund industry in Luxembourg; a deep understanding of the local market is a strong asset,

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily and weekly cash monitoring, i.e. the monitoring of cash flows in the funds as well as monitoring of price variations of investments in the portfolio.
  • Participate in the Operations Management: collection of documentation (from distributors, fund managers,…), analysis of operations and drafting of Investment Memorandum, completion of subscription, agreements/questionnaires (for PERE and private debt investments), coordination with counterparties.
  • Exchange with risk and compliance departments in order to obtain their analyses and approvals (or not) of the operation.
  • Draft Transaction Monitoring Forms.
  • Complete order templates / Subscription Agreements and their follow-up/execution.
  • Share marketing documents and answer requests from client/advisor relations or new contacts/investors.
  • Monitor and adjust currency hedges according to the instructions of the investment committee.
  • Support of the administration team regarding NAV verification.
  • Follow-up compliance and risk & valuation requests with external counterparties;
  • Help in preparation of investment committees.
  • Draft of investment committee minutes.
  • Help in preparation of Comex reporting/notes.
  • Participate in weekly or monthly reporting work: formatting of portfolios to send to investors, setting-up “Monthly Reports” for certain customers, creation of activity reports for others, updating marketing presentations.
