Overview:
We are looking for a CILA qualified (part-qualified will be considered) Loss Adjuster to join our National UK Business Assist team. The role will be predominately Claim Preparation & Presentation (arising under the GBA annual product or GBA After the Event (ATE)).
You will provide a professional Claim Preparation, Presentation and Negotiation service to clients as assigned along with providing other support functions. You will have wide experience of commercial property / BI and other Material Damage claims including complex and major losses.
The role includes delivery of additional functions: Support Account Executives in identifying and achieving sales of GBA and other services and claims colleagues in identification of annual Gallagher Business Assist (GBA) claims and After the Event (ATE) opportunities. In addition, you will provide technical assistance to claims handlers on other claims issues. The role might involve support to other areas of the AJG business as requested by your manager.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Deliver professional Claim Preparation, Presentation, and Negotiation services to clients.
• Manage GBA claims from initial notification to final resolution, including recovery aspects.
• Engage with clients, adjusters, insurers, and other stakeholders to facilitate claim settlements.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring they are informed of claim progress and any arising issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and AJG colleagues to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients and claims handlers throughout the claims process.
• Support Account Executives in identifying and achieving sales of GBA and other services.
• Assist in identifying GBA and ATE opportunities and provide technical assistance to claims handlers.
• Ensure compliance with AJG Professional Standards Manual and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

About you:

• Previous experience in Loss Adjusting.
• Associate of Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters qualification (ACILA) or commitment to achieve.
• Preferred: Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of insurance law, claims, policies, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and other relevant IT systems.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
