Client Manager | HIAIS As a Client Manager with HIA Insurance Services, you will play a pivotal role in delivering trusted insurance solutions and advisory services, specifically tailored to meet the needs of clients within the construction industry. You will act as a strategic partner to a diverse client portfolio, providing technical expertise, risk management guidance, and proactive support throughout all stages of the insurance lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Management: Oversee and optimize a portfolio of residential construction industry clients, ensuring the delivery of tailored risk solutions, exceptional client service, and sustainable business growth. Insurance Expertise: Advise clients on general insurance products, with a strong focus on construction insurance—including Domestic Builders Insurance—helping them navigate complex regulatory requirements and market changes. Risk Management: Evaluate client exposures, develop comprehensive risk management strategies, and collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to secure optimal coverage solutions. Client Relationship Development: Build and strengthen trusted client relationships through proactive engagement, personalized support, and the delivery of value-added solutions. Business Development: Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling, and contribute to new business acquisition and client retention initiatives, driving revenue and portfolio expansion. Market Advocacy: Represent client interests within both local and global insurance markets, including London and Japan, ensuring advocacy and best-in-class outcomes. Industry Collaboration: Engage with Building and Plumbing Commission, industry bodies, and the broader construction ecosystem to deliver integrated insurance solutions and thought leadership. Operational Excellence: Leverage technology and reporting tools (Microsoft Office Suite) to enhance service delivery, streamline internal processes, and inform strategic decision-making. Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and Aon standards, contributing to a culture of risk awareness and ethical conduct. Skills and experience that will lead to success This opportunity would suit someone with demonstrated experience in general insurance, with a proven experience managing construction clients.
