As part of the AI startup incubator Merantix Studio, we have established successful medical imaging and autonomous driving ventures and continue exploring innovative deep-learning products and client-specific solutions across diverse sectors. Manufacturing companies are under pressure to move fast on AI and most don't know where to start. Your job is to be the trusted bridge: understanding where a client's real operational pain is, and working with our technical team to design solutions that actually deliver. You'll manage relationships across Mittelstand and enterprise clients, from first conversation to delivery handover and beyond. We already have reference engagements in the sector – you build on that foundation and take it further. Your role Identify and Develop Strategic Client Relationships: Identify and develop relationships with manufacturing and industrial clients who can benefit from AI solutions provided by Merantix Momentum. Leverage your network and industry understanding to initiate strategic conversations with decision-makers and position Merantix Momentum as a trusted partner for AI transformation initiatives. Consultative Selling: Engage with prospective clients to deeply understand their manufacturing challenges, operational bottlenecks, and strategic objectives. Provide consultative guidance on how Merantix Momentum's AI technologies can address these challenges and create measurable business value. Relationship Building: Build strong and long-term relationships with key stakeholders and establish yourself as a trusted advisor by demonstrating deep industry understanding, strong communication capabilities, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise environments. Collaborative Solutions: Collaborate closely with the Merantix Momentum technical team, including AI researchers, data scientists, strategists, and engineers, to develop customized AI solutions that meet the unique needs of manufacturing clients. Proposal Development & Commercial Ownership: Prepare persuasive proposals and commercial offerings that address client requirements and clearly communicate the value of Merantix Momentum’s AI solutions and transformation capabilities. Post-Sales Support & Account Growth: Support clients throughout ongoing engagements, ensure strong collaboration between clients and delivery teams, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for long-term partnership growth, follow-on initiatives, and strategic account expansion. Your profile Several years of experience in sales, account management, consulting, or business development, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise technology environments (5+ years); Proven track record of closing complex, consultative deals in B2B environments ideally with deal cycles of 3+ months is a plus; Strong network and industry credibility within manufacturing and industrial sectors; Strong understanding of industrial organizations, operational processes, and transformation challenges faced by manufacturers; Experience in consultative and solution-oriented selling; Strong communication and presentation skills (in English and German) to effectively articulate the value proposition of Merantix Momentum’s AI solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality and relationship-building capabilities; Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple strategic client engagements simultaneously; Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and digital transformation topics.
