Position Overview
Vention is a global engineering partner to tech leaders and fast-growing startups, combining 20+ years of product development expertise with an AI-first approach and a reputation for reliable delivery.
With hubs in New York, London, Berlin, Vienna, and across Europe – and a target of $250M in revenue – we’re growing fast. Now we’re looking for a Client Partner to help deepen and expand some of our strategic relationships across the DACH region and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Manage 10–20 strategic accounts, ensuring high retention, client satisfaction, and growth
- Deepen stakeholder relationships through structured engagement and value-driven advice
- Lead expansion efforts with thoughtful upsell, cross-sell, and white-space mapping
- Create and execute strategic account growth plans, informed by data and product roadmaps
- Run executive-level QBRs and own strategic touchpoints with senior tech leaders
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Delivery, Talent) to exceed expectations
- Surface insights from client conversations into product strategy and innovation
- Represent Vention at CTO events, in roundtables, and within our internal CTO Collective community
- Stay ahead of trends in AI, automation, and product development to be a true innovation partner
What You Bring
- 5+ years in client services, enterprise account management, or B2B consulting
- Proven success managing €20M+ portfolios and building executive-level relationships
- Deep experience in upsell/cross-sell strategy, client retention, and consultative partnership
- Strong communicator with a strategic mindset and natural client empathy
- Fluency in English and German (essential for DACH client engagement)
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, agile delivery, and product engineering models
- Data-informed decision maker with strong analytical and prioritization skills
- High-autonomy, proactive operator who thrives in a fast-paced growth environment
- Bonus: experience in developer tools, AI/ML, SaaS, or vertical-specific software (e.g. FinTech, Healthtech)
