Position Summary The Client Platform Engineer I designs, develops, and maintains the technical frameworks that power KBS client data collection websites and integrations. This role is hands-on and production-oriented — building reusable form components, API integrations, and automation scripts to support rapid, reliable platform delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain XML/XForms-based data collection websites and reusable components. Implement Java services and controllers (Spring/Struts) deployed on Tomcat/JBoss. Build and maintain REST/SOAP integrations and data pipelines. Support custom monday.com integrations using GraphQL/REST APIs and webhooks. Develop and test Databricks Jobs/Workflows for ETL and dataset preparation. Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis. Collaborate with Analysts and QA to ensure reliable, documented deployments. Required Technical Skills & Experience Proficiency in XML, XSD, XPath, and XSLT transformations. Java development (Spring/Struts) and REST API fundamentals. Experience with monday.com integrations or automations via APIs. SQL/T-SQL experience for ETL and data transformation. Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (Git), and environment promotion. Working knowledge of Tomcat/JBoss and basic cloud exposure (AWS or Azure). Excellent debugging and systems-thinking ability. Nice to Have Experience with Databricks, Power BI datasets, or RLS models. Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, or SendGrid APIs. Scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks. What Success Looks Like Reliable, maintainable code and integrations. Platform issues are diagnosed and resolved efficiently. Strong collaboration and support for Analysts and QA teams. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Deployment success rate and MTTR. Integration and pipeline uptime. Code review quality and documentation completeness. #LI-TL1 #LI-Hybrid
