JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ford Agency is seeking a collaborative and poised Client Relations Manager to join the DC or NY office of a prestigious law firm. The Manager plays a key role in collaborating with marketing and business development teams to drive new business and build strong relationships with clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with at least 5 years of legal marketing experience with a client-service oriented mindset looking to take the next step in their career!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to develop and execute annual plans to generate strategic new business
  • Identify opportunities with key clients and connect with appropriate attorneys
  • Analyze industry, client, and legal market data to identify client needs
  • Collaborate with the business development team on client pitches, proposals, and RFPs
  • Meet with attorneys in preparation of client meetings
  • Mentor, train, and coach junior team members

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • 5+ year of marketing experience in a law firm
  • Experience generating new business highly desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively cross-functionally and with leadership teams
  • Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) skills
  • Salesforce strongly desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
