Description:
Open Door Group (ODG), a trailblazing non-profit organization serving communities across Canada, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team!
Salary: 24.76 per hour, Grid 5, Step 2
Status: Full-time, Permanent
Hours of Work: 36 hours per week
Location: This position will be hybrid remote, with a primary work location of a home office and secondary work locations from our Open Door Group offices in Vancouver, Kamloops, or Sechelt, based on where the successful candidate lives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12;
- Office Administration Certificate;
- Recent, related experience of one year;
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (can be acquired after hire);
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
- Or other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.
- Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant performs an important internal customer service function and is responsible for supporting Open Door Group by accurately inputting and verifying client data into relevant computer systems. This role also involves reconciling and confirming accuracy of financial support data.
The Administrative Assistant also plays a critical role in supporting the resource center operations occasionally, ensuring that ODG can maintain optimal levels of customer service and support for a diverse clientele.
