Schulman Insurance is a boutique employee benefits advisory firm providing expert benefit services to various-sized businesses.
We are seeking a dedicated client service associate. If you are dependable, detail-oriented, technology-savvy, and great at customer service, you may be a great fit for our service and support team.
This role will include:
- Answering and handling client phone calls and emails
- Corresponding with insurance carriers through phone and email
- Handling a wide range of administrative tasks and client issues from start to finish
- Navigating various insurance carrier websites and client information databases
- Providing key support to team members as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to respond to a high volume of client service requests promptly, professionally, and with a caring demeanor
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete detailed tasks with precision
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to operate computers with ease and navigate websites independently
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior client service experience
- Must obtain NYS Life, Accident, and Health License once hired
Knowledge of employee benefits, health insurance, and/or human resources is a plus.
References will be required should you be considered for this role.
Salary/pay is negotiable based on level of experience and will range from $45 - $55k.
This role is hybrid in-office & work from home.
