Client Service Specialist

As a Client Service Specialist, you will be the first line of support for our clients and a vital resource to our advisory team. You’ll manage the service experience end-to-end—from account maintenance and paperwork processing to relationship support and administrative assistance. This role is suited for a professional who values accuracy, initiative, and delivering exceptional client experiences in the financial planning space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, managing requests with professionalism and accuracy
  • Process new business applications (annuities, life insurance, and financial products) and follow through with carriers and custodians
  • Support advisors with meeting prep, reports, and follow-up communications
  • Track and manage transactional service requests (contributions, RMDs, withdrawals, etc.)
  • Maintain updated client records, account data, and service documentation in Salesforce CRM
  • Coordinate internal workflows and ensure time-sensitive tasks are addressed promptly
  • Assist with compliance documentation and custodial paperwork for new/existing accounts
  • Prepare materials for strategy sessions and client reviews

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years in a client-facing role in financial services
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping

Preferred Qualifications

  • Series 66 or 65 license
  • MN Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License
  • Experience with ACATs and custodial transfer processes
