JOB SUMMARY

Insurance Agent to sell Medicare & Individual/Family plans to eligible prospects and assist in retaining current book of business. Successful candidates will have the skills to provide eligible prospects the guidance and information necessary to choose an appropriate health plan. The goal is to ensure positive customer experiences by educating prospects on the features & benefits of the plans, responding to questions, and overcoming objections.

PRIMARY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST work in Tucson office
  • High School diploma
  • Valid Health insurance license REQUIRED
  • Insurance Sales Experience
  • High level of Integrity & Competitive Team-player
  • Assertive, Goal-oriented, Positive & Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adapt quickly in fast-paced environment
  • Professional Demeanor & Personal Accountability
  • Proficiency with computer applications

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • 1 + years of Medicare Experience, additional IFP Sales Experience is a bonus.
  • 2 + years of Customer Service Experience
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish, a plus
  • Proven ability to close sales at a high rate
  • Phone sales experience
  • College Education a plus
    The general pay scale for this open position is $22 per hour plus an incentive structure based on individual contributions and company performance. Pay for a selected candidate will be determined within the pay scale based on one or more of the following factors: candidate’s experience, skill set, education level, and/or location.
