Position Title: Client Service Specialist
Location: Ottawa, ON
Work Model: Hybrid - 4 days per week onsite

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company in the learning systems space, backed by a Private Equity partner and actively scaling their go-to-market strategy.
They are currently seeking a Client Service Specialist to help drive customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Client Service Specialist plays a pivotal role in building strong client relationships, ensuring successful onboarding and product adoption, and identifying opportunities for renewal and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Onboarding & Training: Lead new clients through a smooth onboarding process, ensuring they understand product features, best practices, and how to achieve their business goals.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
  • Customer Engagement & Success Planning: Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and discovery sessions to uncover pain points, measure success, and align on strategic goals.
  • Product Adoption & Advocacy: Promote feature adoption through use-case demonstrations and proactive support.
  • Renewals & Upselling: Monitor customer health, mitigate churn risk, and collaborate with the sales team to drive renewals and upsell opportunities.
  • Feedback & Collaboration: Share client insights with Sales, Product, and Marketing to improve the overall customer experience.
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in tools like Salesforce or HubSpot, and contribute to forecasting and strategic planning through data insights.

Who You Are:

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles, ideally in B2B SaaS, technology, or software.
  • Proven relationship builder with strong communication skills and the confidence to engage C-level stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and motivated by results and growth.
  • Experience working with KPIs and sales/customer success methodologies.
  • Problem-solver with a customer-first, consultative mindset.
  • Able to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Legally authorized to work and currently residing in Canada

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • A track record of driving customer retention and revenue expansion.
  • Experience working with enterprise or government clients and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Deep understanding of customer success frameworks and translating data into client value.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to guide clients through product usage and best practices.
  • Demonstrated impact on customer satisfaction metrics or measurable revenue contribution.
