Established for more than 30 years, Thurra is an independent engineering inspection specialist delivering a professional, trouble free, responsive and competitive service from highly qualified and experienced engineers.
We inspect all types of plant and equipment including lifts, lifting equipment, pressure systems, power presses, press brakes and local exhaust ventilation.
Our Engineer Surveyors are responsible for carrying out engineering inspections, meeting the statutory examination and contractual inspection obligations of our clients’ plant and equipment.
Typical examinations include equipment defined in LOLER 98, PSSR 2000, PUWER as well as its application to power presses and LEV equipment defined in COSHH.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Client Services Administrator is responsible for delivering high-quality customer support by responding to client enquiries, managing incoming communications, and supporting the onboarding of new clients. This role ensures that client needs are handled efficiently and professionally, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Alongside customer service duties, the role also supports internal operational processes, including assisting with report processing activities to help maintain service standards.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor shared mailboxes and ensure timely, accurate responses to customer enquiries and requests.
  • Answer incoming customer phone calls professionally and handle or triage queries appropriately.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients, including setting up client accounts, entering required data into systems, and coordinating and issuing welcome communications to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience.
  • Update and maintain client records to ensure operational accuracy and service continuity.
  • Process client requests for service changes, additional inspections, or contract amendments, liaising with relevant internal teams as required.
  • Assist with the production and dispatch of reports and client communications following the completion of inspections.
  • Collaborate with the Operations, Engineering, and Reports Processing teams to ensure that client requirements are met within defined service levels.
  • Escalate complex or urgent client issues to the Client Services Manager or appropriate stakeholders.
  • Contribute to operational improvements by identifying recurring issues and suggesting process enhancements.
  • Maintain high standards of data entry, ensuring system records are complete and audit-ready.
