In your role as Client Services Manager / Financial Institutions Officer within the Client Services team of the Global Products & Services (GPS) division, your main responsibility is the coordination and the maintenance of the Bank’s relationships with financial institutions and partner banks. YOUR CHALLENGE Relationship management: You proactively build and maintain strong relationships with our partner financial institutions and banks to ensure smooth operational and strategic collaboration for Julius Baer Group You act as a personal and reliable first point of contact for our partner financial institutions and banks You work closely with internal stakeholders such as Trading, Credit, Treasury, Operations, Compliance and Legal to continuously review and improve collaboration and help to resolve issues with partner financial institutions and banks You maintain an overview of all business activities of our most important counterparties You are responsible for coordinating senior management meetings with partner banks (incl. drafting of briefing notes) and hosting visits You look out for new business opportunities, market developments and efficiency improvements Risk management, onboardings & reviews: You ensure, together with the onboarding team, that new partner financial institutions and banks undergo a thorough due diligence in line with our risk management frameworks You conduct periodic reviews of our partner institutions to assess collaboration, address concerns, and explore areas for growth You pro-actively update our partner banks on major events to ensure uninterrupted access to international financial infrastructure You ensure our partners are provided with all required information for their KYC and credit reviews to support our business with them YOUR PROFILE Winning personality with an ability to establish and maintain strong and trustworthy relationships Very good communication skills A strong sense of responsibility Excellent command of spoken and written German and English, other language(s) will be an advantage At least 5 years’ experience in Relationship Management, Credit, Operations or Risk/Compliance role in Banking Good understanding of the Banking industry (incl. banking products, services, processes and regulations) Good understanding of compliance standards and processes (incl. due diligence, KYC documentation, adverse news and media screening) Good financial acumen (understanding of annual reports, KPIs, etc.) We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
