Client Services Navigator WorkBC Employment Services- Newton Temporary Full-Time Posting Date: Location: Wage: Hours of Work: Closing Date:  January 19, 2026 Surrey, BC $24.89 per hour 35 Hours per week (until Sept. 30, 2026) February 3, 2026   Options Community Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to delivering social services across the Southern Fraser region (Surrey, Delta, White Rock and Langley) from early childhood to seniors. Our comprehensive range of programs and services relies on collaborative relationships with individuals, businesses, community groups and government bodies to create focused, effective and responsive resources for the community. POSITION OVERVIEW Are you a skilled problem-solver with a knack for connecting people to the resources they need? As a Client Services Navigator, you'll play a vital role in guiding clients through WorkBC services, from application support to financial assessments and beyond. Reporting to the Program Manager, our selected candidate will be assessing client eligibility, assisting with BCeID and WorkBC applications, and scheduling appointments with Employment Counselors. The role involves administering job start supports, keeping accurate records, updating resources, and offering job search assistance. Additionally, the Navigator tracks statistical data, including assisting with 4, 24- and 52-week employment follow-up, manages resource room and website content, and helps with program marketing and branding. QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate for this position must have completed Grade 12 with a post-secondary certificate in Career Development Practitioner (CDP) or Office Administration, or equivalent experience in customer service, handling complex barriers, and conducting client assessments is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong learning ability for new software like ICM, and crisis line experience are assets. Candidates should be knowledgeable about labor market trends and community resources, and possess skills in confidentiality, flexibility, multicultural sensitivity, and exceptional communication. They must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, independence, organizational abilities, and a professional approach in a dynamic, multi-tasked environment. This role requires the incumbent to undergo a Police Information Check (PIC), and a Vulnerable Sector Check by the Ministry of Justice.
