Allied Wealth Management provides portfolio management services to high net worth families, corporations and institutional investors. We are a growing investment firm, based in Winnipeg. The cornerstone of Allied’s success rests on its culture of integrity, performance and long-term relationships.
The role requires the candidate to be detailed oriented, customer centric with a positive outgoing personality. They will need to be able to work independently to complete administrative tasks related to managing client accounts in a timely manner and have a polished personality when dealing with clients. The position is part time, between 20-25/week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess a minimum of 7 years of administration experience, ideally working within a financial services environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter, with a problem solving mindset.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written/oral communication (writing, planning, editing, formatting) in the English language.
  • Must have an excellent level of computer experience in a Windows environment (MS Office and SharePoint).
  • Strong keyboarding skills (min of 40 WPM).
  • Experience with client relationship management (CRM) software an asset.
  • Experience in customer service is an asset.
  • Diploma / Degree in Business Administration or equivalent an asset.
  • The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Responsibilities

Working in a team environment, the Administrative/Executive Assistant will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service and administrative support to clients via telephone and email.
  • Set up new clients and create new account opening documentation.
  • Monitor and collect payment from our clients.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Manage office tasks such as filing, typing, maintaining client files, and client appointments.
  • Working effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Provide ongoing support to the President for recurring and ad-hoc tasks.
  • Responsible for organizing, scheduling, and managing the President’s calendar.
  • Preparation and development of executive presentation materials.
  • Provide financial management support with reports and billings process.
  • Meeting and event coordination.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expenses.
  • General errands and other projects as assigned.
