​​​​​​A Client Services Officer position is available at reproductive & sexual health NGO clinic in Newington, with additional support to our Metropolitan clinics. State of the art facilities with comprehensive clinical support and opportunities to build your customer service and administration skills in reception, call handling, general administration, appointment scheduling and billing.

  • Part time shift available at Newington NSW
  • 16 hours per week (2 days per week, must be available Wednesday and Friday)

Position Overview

Our Client Services Officers play an important role in supporting the operation of Family Planning Australia (FPA) clinics, day surgery and appointment call centre. This is a multi-faceted role which is responsible for providing clerical, administrative and reception support to the clinics and in the clinic appointment call centre. The position is part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Base Full Time Salary: $55,917
  • Part time shift available at Newington NSW
  • 16 hours per week (2 days per week, must be available Wednesday and Friday)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential criteria

  • Relevant certificate level qualifications in business administration or similar
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in an administration, reception or call centre role
  • High level computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and data entry
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle high volume of telephone calls
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Must have Australian working rights

Desirable criteria

  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment, including use of electronic medical record systems and client billing
  • Previous experience in basic financial systems
  • Experience working with priority populations including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ people/or culturally and linguistically diverse people

Other requirements

  • A Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check are required prior to commencement
