Business School within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law Full-time, permanent Base salary will be in the range $83,776.44 - $93,121.41 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5) Based at our UQ Brisbane City - 308 Queen Street About This Opportunity The Client Services Officer is integral to the success of UQBS Executive Education, providing end-to-end administrative support for custom and open programs and contributing to the smooth operational delivery of high-impact executive learning experiences. Key responsibilities will include: Coordinate end-to-end administration of open and custom programs, including enrolments, system updates, timetabling support, and maintaining accurate course records. Manage operational delivery requirements such as room bookings, materials, orientation sessions, and intensive program logistics (including catering, accommodation, and venue coordination). Provide responsive client support by managing enquiries, liaising with external service providers, sourcing quotes, and escalating matters where required. Maintain financial and reporting processes, including record keeping, approvals, run sheets, debrief documentation, management reporting, event support, and other administrative tasks as required. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support program and event delivery. Proven experience in event planning and delivery, including support for online engagement activities and webinars. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with participants, stakeholders, clients and suppliers. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands, work independently, and consistently meet deadlines. High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems, with confidence learning new software applications. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively in dynamic or challenging situations. A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence. Desirable Experience using EventsAir or similar event management system experience. Tertiary qualifications in business administration, event management or related discipline, and/or relevant demonstrable experience providing effective and efficient administrative support within a multi-functional team environment Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia.
