Role Description The Client Services Representative Private Wealth is a full-time, on-site position based in Hamilton, ON. In this role, the representative will serve as a primary point of contact for private wealth clients, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include managing account-related requests, coordinating with internal teams to support investment and financial service needs, and maintaining accurate client records. The representative will also prepare client communications, assist with onboarding new clients, and ensure that all interactions comply with regulatory and organizational standards. The role involves building strong client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to improve service, and supporting the overall client experience in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Completion of or enrollment in the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) course (required).
  • Client Services and Customer Service skills, with experience supporting high-net-worth or private wealth clients.
  • Strong Communication abilities, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening.
  • Customer Satisfaction focus, with a track record of resolving client issues and enhancing the client experience.
  • Finance knowledge, including familiarity with investment products, wealth management services, and basic financial concepts.
  • Relevant post-secondary education in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site in Hamilton, ON, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential client information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of customer service or contact center experience within a financial institution, mutual fund company, or brokerage.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and proficiency with CRM databases, financial software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Compensation & Work Environment
  • Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000 annually
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
