ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health diagnosis.  PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for day to day administrative, clerical, data entry, billing and financial functions of the program. Responsible for maintaining high levels of quality financial information and client confidentiality. Performs all of these functions in a manner that complies with Operation PAR’s standards. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the Operation PAR Inc mission and philosophy. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. A minimum of one to three years in a medical office or equivalent experience. * Knowledge of billing practices * Knowledge of governmental regulations and guidelines * Knowledge of business office procedures * Ability to use computer software proficiently * Knowledge of Avatar system (preferred) * Ability to prioritize work load * Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other staff and outside agency personnel and clients SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must pass a level II background check and drug screen.
