Job Description Join our Environmental team in Newcastle and play a key role in delivering outstanding client service across soil, water and air testing. This position combines client relationship management with hands-on coordination of sample receipt, registration and dispatch operations. You will be the link between clients and the laboratory — ensuring expectations are managed, communication is proactive and services are delivered accurately and on time. About the Role As a Client Services Representative, you will: Provide high-quality support to environmental clients and coordinate sample receipt and dispatch. Register, check, label and process soil, water and air samples accurately and efficiently. Communicate proactively with clients regarding sample status, turnaround times and any service impacts. Prepare and coordinate quotations as required. Liaise with laboratory teams to ensure KPIs and due dates are met. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and service activities. Ensure safe, organised and compliant operations within the sample receipt area. Assist with sample collections from client sites when required. Qualifications About You You will bring: A Diploma or tertiary qualification in Science or at least 2 years’ relevant experience. Experience in a commercial environmental laboratory Experience in a client services role. Strong communication skills and a proactive, client-focused approach. A current driver’s licence and Laboratory skills in chemistry or microbiology (is an advantage) Good driving record. Physical capability to handle samples (up to 10–15kg) and remain on your feet for extended periods. Ability to obtain required site certifications (e.g. White Card, MSIC).
