POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our Client Services team. This role is responsible for driving departmental excellence through two key functions: developing and leading our training programs and performing in-depth analysis for corporate projects and system enhancements. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and a sharp analytical thinker who is passionate about both employee development and process improvement. They are the primary liaison between the Client Services department and systems development teams, ensuring business needs are met throughout the project life cycle.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Business Analyst or related field. An equivalent combination of education and 2-3 years related experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate training, instructional design, or employee development.
  • Proven experience in a business analysis, systems analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into easily understandable content for non-technical users.
  • Highly organized, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a project-based environment.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or a related industry is a strong asset.

Responsibilities
  • Training & Development:
  • Design, facilitate, and continuously improve training programs for all Client Services employees with a focus on ensuring that users successfully embrace and effectively use new systems, tools and processes.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional methods including in-person workshops, e-learning modules, and webinars.
  • Develop and maintain all training materials, procedure manuals, system documentation, and business readiness documentation, ensuring they are current and clear.
  • Manage the training component of the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Business & Systems Analysis:
  • Act as a key participant in departmental and corporate projects, representing the needs of the Client Services department.
  • Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions.
  • Gather and document detailed business requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing ones.
  • Liaise with IT and development staff to ensure the business perspective is maintained throughout the application development lifecycle.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance:
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases (Functional, Regression, User Acceptance, End-to-End).
  • Execute testing, document results, and manage the defect resolution process to ensure high-quality system releases.
  • Departmental Support:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all Client Services systems, tools, and processes.
  • Assist department leadership by handling escalated inquiries and providing support to team members.
  • Act as a change champion to help people overcome resistance to change and learn new ways of working.
