JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Client Solutions Manager at Instep. You’ll report to the Director of Client Solutions and be responsible for driving the growth of our funded learning programmes across mid-market &enterprise clients. Your focus will be on new business development—prospecting, pitching, and closing deals, while ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in private education or training.
  • Is passionate about learning, with a strong interest in leadership, management, and digital transformation.
  • Thrives on new business development and consistently exceeds sales targets.
  • Communicates with clarity, confidence, and impact, both in writing and in person.
  • Demonstrates high integrity, resilience, and a people-first approach.
  • Can balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and execution.
  • Works well with cross-functional teams and enjoys a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience selling apprenticeships, leadership programmes, or digital transformation solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow new and existing client accounts.
  • Prospect and close new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Understand and respond to client leadership and development needs with tailored solutions.
  • Position Instep’s full portfolio of learning and consultancy offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Lead client engagement activities and ensure service excellence throughout the lifecycle.
  • Deliver clear information and guidance on apprenticeship and training programmes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, curriculum, onboarding) to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and differentiate Instep from competitors.
  • Run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and contribute insights that drive client success.
  • Attend industry events and represent Instep to grow brand presence and pipeline.
