JOB TITLE: CUSTOMER SUPPORT APPRENTICE

Apprenticeship: Customer Service Level 2
Location: Chichester (must have access to a vehicle due to the location and nature of the role)
Salary: £7.55 per hour in April 2025
Full-time: Monday – Friday, 9am – 4:30pm
As a Client Support Apprentice, you’ll work closely with the finance and benefits team, becoming a trusted point of contact for clients and institutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone organised, compassionate, and eager to gain hands-on experience in administration, finance, and customer service — all while earning and learning.
You’ll be part of a small, passionate team in a highly rewarding environment where no two days are the same. They are a values-driven organisation that provides vital support to elderly and vulnerable adults across finance, legal matters, care, and beyond.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

  • An interest in finance, administration, and supporting others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team
  • Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent)
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
Responsibilities
  • Be the friendly, professional point of contact between our clients and key organisations like banks, the DWP, and other institutions – helping make things happen smoothly.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls with confidence, offering top-notch service and clear communication every time.
  • Book appointments, manage calendars, and send friendly reminders to keep everything running like clockwork.
  • Keep our spreadsheets and CRM systems up to date – making sure we’re always on top of the details.
  • Scan, file, and organise client documents with care and precision – because every detail matters.
  • Draft and send professional emails to clients and external contacts – your written communication skills will shine here.
  • Be the go-to support for the wider team, helping with admin tasks that keep the office ticking.
